What is it?
Luxury From The Ground Up - a multidisciplinary creative incubator rooted in community, culture, and collaboration. The Culxr House Creative Cohort is a structured incubator designed to support artists, designers, and cultural workers in developing their craft, collaborating across disciplines, and producing real-world creative output.
Participants move together through a shared timeline of learning, creating, and presenting work to the
public:
*Music & Audio: Artists, producers, engineers.
*Fashion & Design: Designers, stylists, models.
*Visual Arts: Painters, photographers, videographers.
*Cultural & Civic: Hosts, curators, organizers.
Week 1: Orientation
Weeks 2–3: Skill Building Workshops
Weeks 4–5: Creation Phase & Collaboration
Weeks 6-7: Refinement & Rehearsal
Week 8: Public Showcase
Each meet-up includes:
• Workshop (learning)
• Work Session (creation)
• Feedback Circle (community)
• Collaboration Time (cross-discipline)
Participant Outcomes

Structure
Paid Cohort Model: $300 per participant
Cohort Lead: Facilitates and guides program
Mentors: Industry professionals supporting participants
Accountability Captains: Peer leaders for accountability
Culxr House is seeking dedicated mentors and creators to lead our most ambitious summer season yet. We are bridging the gap between professional artistry and community impact through strategic collaborations and intensive mentorship.
Dates: June 1 – August 7 | Deadline to Apply: May 15
Who We Are Looking For:
We need instructors and Accountability Captains with proven experience in:
Music & Audio: Production, engineering, and performance.
Creative Writing & Songwriting: Literacy, lyricism, and storytelling.
Art & Illustration: Visual arts, mural work, and graphic design.
Video & Photography: Content creation, editing, and visual branding.
Theatre: Acting, stage presence, and dramatic arts.
The Roles:
Youth Instructors: Lead workshops and curriculum for our partners (including Nelson Mandela Elementary and PROSE). You must be able to translate your craft into lessons that inspire and discipline.
Accountability Captains: Act as the "backbone" for the Creative Cohort and Open Mic League. You are a mentor, a coach, and a navigator for artists striving for the next level.
The Commitment: Applicants must be available from June 1st to August 7th. We expect reliability and professional communication.
