P.R.O.S.E. x Culxr House Summer 2026 Sign-Up

P.R.O.S.E. (Performance Recitations of Oratory Style & Eloquence) is partnering with Culxr House to preserve and elevate the art of writing and spoken expression by empowering youth to discover their authentic voices, write from the heart, and communicate with confidence.  Instructed by Twana Bond-Jones, MCLC (bestselling author, playwright, writer, director producer).

Dates:July 20th – July 31st (Monday-Fridays)

• Ages 11–14 (Morning Group: 9am - 1pm)

• Ages 15–18 (Afternoon Group: 2pm - 6pm)

• Final Showcase: August 1st

2-Week Intensive Structure:

Week 1: Foundation

• Voice awareness (breath, tone, enunciation)

• Writing from personal experience

• Introduction to recitation and delivery

• Confidence-building exercises

Week 2: Performance

• Refining written pieces

• Stage presence and movement

• Rehearsal and peer feedback

• Final performance preparation

Tuition: $250 (please indicate if you are in need of financial assistance in application)

• Includes snacks and all instructional material
